Klayar Beach

Located 40km west of Pacitan, and is accessible via a turnoff after Gong Cave. Although swimming is not recommended at this beach, the blow-hole, black sand, unusual rock formations, large waves, and wave-powered waterfalls make it worth a visit. To view the blow-hole, guides can be hired from the beach for a small fee (Bahasa Indonesia only). Popular with young locals and families on the weekend.

Down to the river

The Pacitan Maron River is a river walk with a natural panorama that is very natural. This river water is very clear and overgrown with coconut trees on the side of the river. River depth reaches 20 meters, for the deepest part. Because of the clarity of the water, not a few local residents use it as a daily necessity.
